LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CA — Authorities are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a person of interest in a brutal triple homicide in the Antelope Valley.
The victims—two men and a woman—were discovered around 4:45 p.m. on Sunday in a remote desert area near Lancaster. The two men were fatally shot inside a truck attached to a camper trailer, while the woman was found dead in a nearby car. All three were pronounced dead at the scene.
Very little information about the victims has been released, and their identities remain undisclosed. On Tuesday, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department identified 32-year-old Axel Abel Trevino as a person of interest in the case. Trevino is described as 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing approximately 180 pounds. Authorities said he was last seen driving a silver 2021 Nissan Altima near the scene at the intersection of 215th Street E and Avenue Q. Photos of the vehicle released by LASD show visible damage to the passenger-side front quarter panel.
Anyone with information about Trevino or his vehicle is urged to contact the LASD Homicide Bureau at 323-890-5500. Anonymous tips can also be submitted online or by calling 800-222-8477.
Officials emphasize that Trevino should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone who encounters him is advised not to approach and to contact law enforcement immediately.
